Prior to submitting abstracts and registering for the conference, attendees must create an account. To do this, go to "Create an Account" in the "Login" menu.

Once your account is created, the menu links for "registration" and "submission" will become available. Then, follow the instructions on the corresponding pages to register for the conference and submit your abstract online.

Attendees are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations on the following MICRO 2018 topics:

* Marine Ecosystems;
* Freshwater bodies;
* From MACRO to nano;
* Social change and behaviour;
* Human health;
* Policy.

Abstract submission is now closed,
preliminary review results will be available by July 31.
By September 21 the Scientific Committee will contact the contributors about the in-depth review and next steps for the editorial and publication process.

More than 2000 authors are participating through nearly 500 presentations.
It's a great chance to bring the research community and stakeholders together to share new findings, discuss common concerns, and move forward with next steps!

Please encourage any co-authors who will be attending the conference to register by Sept. 21st. And, if you haven't already, book your travel; the island can be pretty busy in November.

Conference registration is open until September 21st.

Abstracts should be submitted in English and should be no more than 300 words long with 1 figure. Due to the very hight demand we choose 1 abstract by author.

Please state your preference for an oral or poster presentation. The scientific committee reserves the right to ask that an oral presentation be changed to a poster or vice versa, to help ensure balanced thematic sessions.
